- Love SymbolTaken with the Tamron 28-75 and built-in flash. One of June's birthday gifts was this necklace, the Chinese glyph for 'love' :D I wear it every day, and think of her each time I notice it...

- Suddenly Sinking!Taken with the Tamron 28-75. Before you ask, no, I've not been at sea! It's actually a rotated crashzoom on this month's page of one of my calendars :o) Despair use *amazing* photos in really funny ways, check them out!

- The VortexTaken with the Tamron 28-75. I've decided to be a bit abstract here... I took a shot of the corner of my ceiling, while holding a toilet roll tube over the lens, then seriously messed with the whitebalance, and topped it all off with an 90 degree swirl ;o)

- All StarsTaken with the Tamron 28-75. Another one of my birthday presents from June, and they're retro cool :o)

- Congratulatory CigarTaken with the Tamron 28-75. On hearing about my engagement, one of my flatmate's friends gave me a sri-lankan cigar to celebrate with. I'm not really a smoker, but there's something about a good cigar... and this one was vanilla-flavoured, definitely unusual!

- Before IlluminationTaken with the Tamron 28-75. Just the head of my maglite, nothing more :o)

- Speeding Mini-MokeTaken with the Tamron 28-75. I wandered out into the front "garden" (ie concreted area) of my house, pondering what to shoot today, when I noticed someone standing the in the road, obviously waiting for something. I then heard an engine, so got the camera ready to snap whatever it was, and suddenly this mini-moke zoomed past then screeched to a halt just out of sight! Didn't expect that!

- Experiment #1Taken with the Tamron 28-75 and a reversed Canon 1.4x Extender II held in front of it. In this shot, I let the Tamron autofocus thru the teleconverter.

- Experiment #2Taken with the Tamron 28-75 and a reversed Canon 1.4x Extender II held in front of it. In this shot, I let the Tamron autofocus first, then switched to MF and put the teleconverter in front... oh, and I played with hue rotating too ;o)

- Uncorrected VisionTaken with the Tamron 28-75. This is my first attempt to simulate how I see the world without my glasses on, and while it's by no means perfect, it's close enough to give a rough idea. Since simulating semi-blurred DoF (which is hard to describe, let alone shoot) is pretty damn tricky, I just went for a near-distance object for simplicity! Now you can see why I wear glasses at every waking moment :o)

- The BuildingTaken with the Canon S40.

- Can't Keep My Eyes Off Of You...Taken with the Tamron 28-75. June finally let me take a photo of her with her hair hanging infront of her face, which I really like :D

- To Cap It All Off...Taken with the Tamron 28-75. OK, I was short on ideas tonight, hence this silly shot of the inside of this lens' cap.

- Getting Some Shut-EyeTaken with the Tamron 28-75. June dozed off early, so I couldn't resist taking this photo of her snoozing :o)

- Going UndergroundTaken with June's Canon G1. Heading down the escalators at Holburn underground station.

- Black Edged BladesTaken with the Canon 50mm.

- Sine WaveTaken with the Canon 50mm.

- Found!Taken with the Canon S40. Who'd have thought to look right beneath our feet, eh? :o)

- Tower BlockTaken with the Canon S40.

- Squares In CirclesTaken with the Sigma 50mm. The bleed valve for my radiator, viewed head-on.

- Bowl Of LightTake with the Canon 70-200 and Canon 1.4x Extender II. One of the lamps around the upstairs restaurant in the British Museum.

- Rapt AttentionTaken with the Canon 50mm.

- Bleary EyedTaken with the Tamron 28-75. Yes, this is intentionally out of focus :o) I've been processing GTG photos all evening, and this is how my eyes feel right now...

- Big Red BusesTaken with the Canon S40. Lots of buses parked up in the bus station at the end of the road this morning, and they're not usually all lined up like this.

- Sky AflameTaken with the Tamron 28-75.

- Between The LinesTaken with the Canon S40. Another shot take at Sloane Square station, while waiting for a train.

- Into The CourtyardTaken with June's Kodak DX4900. While we were walking from Chancery Lane towards Hatton Garden (to do some wedding-ring window shopping :D ), we passed this entranceway to a large building, and the framing seemed perfect.

- Dancing FingersTaken with the Tamron 28-75. June was using my laptop, and I was playing around with my camera (you really don't want to see the outtakes...!), and shot a few of June typing, with this one coming out nicely.

- SilhouetteTaken with the Tamron 28-75. Sunlight reflecting off one of the windows next door came through my window to produce this striking silhouette on my wall. A few minutes later, the sun had moved and the reflection had gone.

- Darkness SpiralTaken with the Tamron 28-75. Something different today, and I very much doubt you'll guess what it really is :o)

-Sunset Over Sainsbury'sTaken with the Canon S40. I always seem to time my shopping trips to coincide with sunset... and I always kick myself for not having my camera with me. Well, this time I finally remembered :D

- Upsidedown Aussie WineTaken with the Canon 50mm. A free glass of aussie wine and a lack of other ideas led to this :)
